The Wright State University Foundation welcomes altafiber and Nokia to EC1!
Studio 5G was established through a collaboration with the Wright State University Foundation in partnership with telecommunications firms altafiber and Nokia. This lab offers an interactive space where businesses can explore, test, and validate the use of private wireless (private LTE) for both indoor and outdoor applications, including private networks for secure, reliable connectivity.
Studio 5G at the Emergence Center aims to provide hands-on education for businesses about private 4G and 5G wireless technologies. The lab enables companies to test use cases that range from connectivity solutions in large open spaces to seamless network integration for devices like scanners and tablets. The foundation’s goal is to position the Emergence Center as a central hub for advanced connectivity solutions, contributing to regional economic growth by supporting tech-driven industries such as healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing.
